Welcome to the library!
The Rabun County Public Library provides educational, civic, cultural, and recreational resources for Rabun County citizens and visitors. Our colorful history may be traced to 1915 when the first library was a one-room corner of the county courthouse secured by Rabun County Ordinary Frank Adams Smith. Today's modern facility houses current and classic literature, periodicals, newspapers, audiobooks, CDs, DVDs, and state-of-the-art technology with high-speed Internet access, wireless service and private pods for remote work or meeting. The children's library features books, computers, programs, and services for children of all ages. The library's collection and services extend beyond the physical building through access to Georgia's GALILEO database and our Libby e-Books Library. The library also houses a great little bookshop of new-to-you donated books, DVDs, and audiobooks. The Rabun County Public Library is a Northeast Georgia Regional Library System member.
